The faith of the old town of Israel was distinguishing and unique by a particular fact that each Jew repeated and repeats until today like faith declaration: the SHEMÃ?:

“Listening Israel Yahweh our Elohim Yahweh One is�

It is a declaration of war against any class of politeismo, against any class of rupture to the unit of God and that did not admit any BUT at the end of the phrase. The phrase did not close with “although in fact our Elohim has several personalities� or “although our Eloim is composed…�.

When publo of Israel adored, it adored A SINGLE GOD. There are few irrefutable facts but historically that the strict monotheism of Israel. That Town that believed (and it creates) in A SINGLE GOD that besides being ONE is UNIQUE and INCOMPARABLE also it believed (and it creates) that someday would be born in the Earth special a human being. A descending human being of David who would be called to govern the nations and to this human being whose birth the Jews always located in the future called (and they call to him) the MESÃ?AS to him.

From an historical point of view there is no theological difference between the Judaism and the Christianity in the sense that the unique difference between the histófico Judaism and the historical Christianity is:

  • For the Judaism the Mesías not yet has been born and will be born in a while future
  • For the historical Christianity that Mesías already was born in Bethlehem does about 2000 years and Jesus de Nazareth is called

It is an error to think that the difference between Judaism and Christianity is that the Jews do not accept to Jesus by God or that the Christians have like God to Jesus and the Jews to Yahweh.  The historical difference is that a defined and lifted good group (tens of thousands) of Jews accepted about 2000 years ago that Jesus de Nazareth was the Mesías that its Only God Yahweh had promised to them in the writings and on who all the prophets had prophesied.

That Mesías, that man, was Jewish, he is Jewish and he will be Jewish and it declared like main education when they asked to him what was but the great order:

“He listens, Israel: the Gentleman our God is the Unique Gentleman “

Any reading of will lead us to gospels to a fundamental truth: Jesus de Nazareth DID NOT INTRODUCE ITSELF TO ITSELF LIKE a NEW GOD. Either like the old God of Israel walking in the Earth. Jesus revindicó to the God of Israel and made a call become to Ël, pray and serve to him to him.

The original Christianity then was a religion MONOTEISTA and without peros in which NAZARETH JESUS was a man born in the Earth, generated by God miraculously (the deep part but of its education had to do with the fact that same God he was his Father) and the God of Israel was the Unique true God to which there was to adore.

MONOTEISMO is a doctrine without concessions. It is the belief in that ONLY THERE IS a GOD. Any being who is not that GOD does not have to be adored but it is a question not of election… but of nature. That ONLY GOD is the unique one that must be adored because he is the UNIQUE one THAT IS REALLY GOD and it does not have parallel with no other being.

Monolatría, or concept of which are many Gods but it is due to adore to one supreme one (practiced by old Egyptian, and Columbian natives pre in America) simply is a concept other people's to the Bible that says:

Because although it is truth that some are called Gods, it is in the sky or in the Earth (since there are many Gods and many gentlemen), nevertheless, for us there is a single God, the Father (1 Corintios 8:6)

That explanation of the apostle Pablo makes clear why in the writings sometimes a person of authority, or the same devil, or Jesus a pair of times is called by the title of “God�. We establish a very clear truth here:

TO BE CALLED GOD DOES NOT IMPLY TO BE GOD. A THING IS TO BE CALLED GOD AND ANOTHER THING IS TO BE IT BY NATURE… soon: “there are many Gods CALLS, is ONE ONLY that are God for us (the Christians)�

That is the sense of 1 Cortintios 8:6 and that is the clear faith in all the writing.  Some centuries after written the Bible would be born the Islam, a new religion that nowadays is considered one “of the three religions monotheists� next to the Judaism and to the Christianity. Nevertheless we must leave in clear that JUDAISM, the UNITARY HISTORICAL CHRISTIANITY and the ISLAM are religions MONOTEISTAS without no but: with a single GOD by nature and definition, with a single personality and a single essence. In the Christianity organized been born as of century IV he is catholic, protestant or derivatives generally the majority of the churches have a relative monotheism in which they affirm to think that only they have a God, but on the other hand affirm that God IS NOT ONE.

After the ONE GOD they only add BUT ..... IN TRINIDAD.

Majority of confessions Christian nowadays, still, are trinitarias and affirm that somehow God of Israel (to who the Jews adore), Jesus (who the historical Christians recognized like the Mesias man) and the spirit of the God of the Jews (its energy and power) they are three beings that lives in a single deity.

Strictly speaking this it is not total monotheism because as I said the monotheism depends on two factors: UNICITY and UNIT.  God is ONE and God is ONLY are the two conditions to be monotheist, conditions that occur in all the Fez monotheists except in the organized Christianity catholic and evangelical although every day they are but the churches that accept the Biblical evidence of which the God of the Christians is the Father and no other, and that what differentiates the Christian from the Jew is not the God that adores but the Mesías that recognizes.
